Looking to stay fit but not loving the gym class fees? No problem! Boston offers so many free fitness classes and events from urban running groups to kick your ass bootcamp on the Greenway. We’ve done our research and compiled a list of the top free Boston fitness classes happening this September to keep your fit goals going!

Team Training Class In Dewey Square: Free TFW signature workout as seen on ESPN and The New York Times in Dewey Square on the Greenway.

TUESDAY’S AT 6:00 PM | Until September 29, 2015

Reebok CrossFit Back Bay at Faneuil Hall Marketplace: Test your strength with Reebok CrossFit Back Bay, one of the most intense workouts you’ll find in Boston! Free one hour outdoor CrossFit session, with new workouts each week.

TUESDAY’S AT 6:00 PM

Back Bay Run Club: City Sports sponsors a run club every Tuesday at 6:00 PM, which meets at City Sports Back Bay.

Registration: Just show up but you must print and sign the waiver found here and bring it to your first run.


TUESDAY’S AT 6:30 PM | Until December 22, 2015

The North Face Mountain Athletics Training: Free Mountain Athletics training every Tuesday from 6:30 PM – 7:30 PM in Boston Common.

WEDNESDAY’S AT 6:30 AM

Stair Workout at Harvard Stadium: Located in lower Allston, Harvard Stadium is a great workout spot where instructors will take you up and down the massive stadium steps for intense workout experience.

CrossFit on the Greenway: Get a free CrossFit workout with City Sports and Reebok.

Marathon Sport Run Group: Marathon Sports sponsors a run group every Wednesday night at 6:30 PM which meets at their Boston, Brookline, Cambridge, and Wellesley store locations.
