Between 8:30PM and 10:00PM each Friday, weather-permitting, visit the Gilliland Observatory on the roof of the Museum’s parking garage. On clear nights, you can view stars, planets, the Moon, and other astronomical phenomena. On cloudy nights, tour the inside of the Observatory, and participate in astronomy-related activities run by the knowledgeable staff.
When: Every Friday (March 6, 2015 – Friday, November 27, 2015) 8:30 PM – 10:00 PM
Admission: Free! This program does not run on nights when the weather is inclement. Call 617-589-0267 to find out if the roof is opening that evening.
