BOSTON COMMON TREE LIGHTING – DEC. 3
On Thursday, December 3rd head to Boston Common for the annual holiday tree lighting ceremony!
The heart of the city is illuminated with seasonal cheer, games, prizes, and more. The evening starts off at 5:00 PM with a Skating Spectacular on Frog Pond, a free world-class figure skating show.
The tree-lighting event takes place near the Visitors Information Center on Tremont Street starting at 6:00 PM , and stars the special tree plus 80+ other lighted trees throughout the Common and Boston Garden.
The Mayor will be joined by Santa and members of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police, and the show will close with fireworks. When the Mayor turns on the lights around 7:55 PM, the Boston holiday season officially begins!
