For 40 years, Boston’s First Night has been a cherished tradition and a signature event for our city. On December 31st get ready for a day packed of New Year’s Eve celebration with music performances, fireworks, ice sculptures and many other exciting events!
This celebration will be free and open to all. Entertainment and specialty attractions will be focused in Copley Square and the Boston Common.

Boston Common | 7:00 PM-7:30 PM: Early-Bird Fireworks Display, enjoy an early display that will light up Boston’s sky giving you time to make it home to get ready for your NYE event.
Copley Square | 8:30 PM – 12:00 AM: Live performances by Ripe, Conundrum Nine, Restless Road, The Weekend Riot and The House on Cliff.
Copley Square | 12:00 AM – 12:15 AM: Midnight Pyrotechnics Show, enjoy an incredible show that will ignite Copley Square on the roof of the Fairmont Copley Hotel as Boston-based headlining band, Ripe, counts us down to 2016!
